DAY 1
SESSION 1 8:00AM - 11:00AM
“INTRODUCTION TO THE MASTER CLASS & LEARNING YOUR TOOLS”
In this class, students will receive their welcome packages. This will include all the sewing tools & notions necessary to complete the full master class. We will review every tool and its use. By the end of the session, students will be familiarized with each of their tools.

SESSION 2 12:00PM - 3:00PM
“HAND SEWING - SETTING THE FOUNDATION”
The idea of learning how to sew can be very exciting, and it is! But the foundation of making clothing, or anything for that matter, starts with hand sewing. The class will start with learning how to thread a needle. Students will then learn four foundational stitches.

“SETTING UP YOUR SEWING MACHINE”
In this class, all students will receive their sewing personalized machines. All students will learn how to set up, thread, oil and overall operate their sewing machine by the end of the class.

SESSION 2 12:00PM - 3:00PM
"PICK YOUR PROJECT"
Our entire session will be dedicated to apply all the skills you attained throughout the class so far. Students will be able to choose from four different projects. Our goal is to leave every student with a special project that they can use every day. Students will cut and sew their own fabric and with be assisted throughout the process.

MEET THE DESIGNER
Chinnyere McPherson, a renowned fashion designer with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Born in NY and raised in CT, Chinnyere's passion for fashion began at a young age and grew into a flourishing career.
Chinnyere is a graduate of Fisher College in Boston, where she earned a degree in fashion design and merchandising. Throughout her career, she has been a part of countless fashion shows and has been featured in various press articles, showcasing her exceptional talent and unique style.
In addition to her work as a designer, Chinnyere is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught fashion design at Yale University and Girls Inc., as well as providing private lessons for aspiring sewists and designers. Her passion for mentoring the next generation of designers is a testament to her commitment to the fashion industry's growth and development.

Q: What level of sewing experience is required to attend this master class?
A: This master class is designed for beginners but all levels are welcome. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your existing skills, there will be something for everyone.
Q: What materials do I need to bring to the class?
A: All materials will be provided by FASCHINN LLC and are covered with your ticket purchase. Please refer to the sewing kit page. All that is required is a positive attitude and an open mindset to learn how to sew!
Q: Will there be sewing machines available to use during the class?
A: Yes, you will have a brand new machine personalized with your name on it. A brand new machine will allow all students as it will allow you to work more efficiently and comfortably.
Q: Can I bring a machine that I already have?
A: Unfortunately, you cannot bring your own machine whether its new or used. All student will have the same machine in order to keep the pace of the class flowing.
Q: What topics will be covered during the class?
A: The class will cover a range of topics, including but not limited to: basic sewing techniques, garment construction, and fabric selection. There will also be opportunities for one-on-one instruction and Q & A throughout the course.
Q: What is the schedule for the class?
A: The class will run for two full days, from 8am to 3 pm each day. A detailed schedule will be provided upon registration.
Q: Will lunch be provided?
A: Yes we will be providing lunch a light during the class. However, there will be designated breaks throughout the day for attendees to enjoy their own meals or explore local dining options. Please email info@faschinn.com if you have any dietary restrictions.
Q: Is there a refund policy if I am unable to attend the class?
A: Refunds will be granted on a case-by-case basis, depending on the circumstances.
Q: Is there an age restriction for this class?
A: Yes, if the student is younger than age 16 they will be required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
